The Slum Derby clash between Kariobangi Sharks and Mathare United was a thrilling encounter, with the Sharks overpowering Mathare 3-1.
Elie Asieche put Mathare ahead early, slotting the ball into the net to draw first blood. However, Mathare struggled to maintain momentum as the Sharks swiftly responded. Steve Mburele equalised in the 22nd minute, and ten minutes later, Ghai Panchol gave Sharks a 2-1 lead at halftime. Humphrey Aroko sealed the win with a third goal, propelling Sharks above Mathare in the league standings with a goal difference of -1 compared to Mathare’s -12.

Kenya Police 3-1 Muranga Seal
Kenya Police, potential title contenders as of matchweek 24, hosted Murang’a Seal in a bid to strengthen their title charge.
Mohammed Bajaber converted a penalty in the 15th minute after a handball in the box, giving Police an early lead. David Irishura nearly doubled the advantage in the 24th minute, but his powerful strike hit the post. However, he redeemed himself with a stunning header from Abud Omar’s delivery. Murang’a Seal pulled one back just before halftime, making it 2-1.
